"Slow Drift"
A show of new works by US artist Alexandra Barao, reflecting experiences from her time in Ecuador. Drawing inspiration from the sprawling and shifting landscape, with a curiosity towards the various natural phenomena encountered along the way, she is interested in the role of the artist as an explorer. The works in this show employ video, photography, and other means to merge these ideas in a manner that oscillates between the meditative and the playful.
